I LOVED THIS!!! It's the first thriller I've rated 5 stars in awhile. The two main characters were fleshed out and lovable. The flow of the story was easy to follow and had me hooked from the beginning. I look forward to reading more from this author!

A promising book that kinda fell short towards the end. I was pretty interested and engrossed in the story given that it was told in different timelines and from different POVs. From the beginning, I wanted to know more about what really happened and how it all connected in the end. But somehow, even the main character broke… “character”? And I hate when that happens just for the sake of furthering the plot or serving a plot twist.

One of the things I liked about this book, though, is the audiobook narration!

This was a straightforward, quick read. I would have loved a lot more of the events from 2000, with the investigation, but after a certain point we didn't get any more of that which I thought was too bad.

I was sucked right into this one! But would have liked another layer of complexity.
