Lily is sweet, innocent, and wants love. She lives with her parents, after leaving college. She needs to move out of her parents home... but can’t do it on her own.

Jett left after high school for the Marines. He is back, and he needs a roommate. When he sees Lily, and finds out she is living with her family, and wants to move out, asks her to be his roommate.

Lily has crushed on Jett since high school.... and Jett has been in love with Lily just as long... but neither of them have been honest.

I absolutely love this series of books, but Lily and Jett may be my favorites!! I love how naive Lily is... and I love how Jett sees only her!!

This is a fantastic read, and leaves you guessing about some things!! Chelle Bliss is an author I will read at every chance! Her writing is so easy to get into, and she makes you feel like a part of the characters families. I have lived each of these books... and can’t wait for the next book!

I say this every time, but WOW! Lily is the quiet cousin, the nerdy one who always does what everyone expects her to do...until Jet walks back into her life. Jet was the bad boy and a total man whore before he left for the Navy and everyone assumes he hasn't changed. I was cracking up from the first chapter with Lily trying to hide her crush and talk to Jet, which usually ends up with her speaking without a filter...much word vomiting as she calls it! They have crushed on each other for years, but neither believe they are good enough for the other. Jet comes up with a spur of the moment proposition for Lily that will change everything. I love that most of the crazy Gallo family are in this book acting just the way you want them to so you get an update on everyone. I love that this is so emotionally charged, and just wait until the end....omg....Blaze made me literally laugh out loud, made my heart ache, made me happy and left me wanting more!! I loved it!!!!!

I’ve liked this series so far but Lily really got on my nerves, I almost didn’t finish it she was so ridiculous.

This is my first Men of Inked: Heatwave book, and I LOVED IT!!! It had me rolling with laughter from chapter one. It's one of the funniest and best meet-cutes ever. Lily and Jet are adorable and full of all types of feels. Watching this relationship blossom, and Lily grow is lovely. Seeing unrequited love through Jet's eyes is beautiful! I loved this book, and I look forward to reading more in the series!!
I also LOVED the narrators. Samantha did an amazing job, and I will definitely be looking for more audios involving her!

Lily has finally found herself and love. Now she only has to hope that her dad, Mike Gallo, lets him live. It might be a little difficult since Jett Michaels has been a family friend for years. His mom was Suzie's roommate.

The author did an amazing job telling their story, but the ending teaser has me screaming for the next book.

11/04/2020 Listened to the audiobook. I highly recommend everyone listen to the audiobook. Blaze and Lily brought to life was better than a blockbuster movie on the big screen.

Blaze
Men of Inked: Heatwave
By: Chelle Bliss
Narrated by: Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke

There are times when a book just hits you, and Blaze does it for me. I am not sure if it is the combination of characters, or the addition of the talented narrators, but it is a fantastic listen. Jet is home from the military and when he bumps into Lily in the tattoo parlor, things for our couple begin. Jet is the one Lily pined over in high school, you know the one that all he girls love. Being the studious nerd, Lily didn't think she was even on Jet's radar, but was she? Now several years later, she agrees to be his roommate. Can she do it? Between her overprotective family and friends and her lack of risk taking, we shall see! It's fun, flirty and just a blast to listen to. All our favorites are present, with Tamara and Mammoth, Pike and Gigi along with the Gallo family giving us all the love and laughter and alpha protectiveness! It's a great listen and the ending just made me smile!

Samantha Brentmoor and Jason Clarke are an amazing team! I loved them together. Clarke just dials into Jet, with his charm and warmth. I could see why Lily fell for him! And Brentmoor is fabulous as the innocent Lily as she gains her confidence. They compliment each other well and make the listen fly by. Loved every minute!

Should of written this when I 1st read this book. Loved Lily’s quirkiness, fun loving ways. Her and Jett are one of my fav young couples from the next generation. The Gallos keep you on your toes and coming for more. Chelle knocks another one out of the park.
