This book came out on my ex's birthday and I couldn't be more happier to escape , it was the exact groveling I needed and the love and the tears . I cried alot during the book and maybe forgot to eat but it was so worth it for the ending

Dominic Davenport lost the most important thing he had. His wife. Unfortunately, he didn’t realize until it was too late. He spends a good majority of the book groveling to get her back. Ale is trying to refined her independence and who she is after being married to the Wolf of Wall Street. Dominic is ready to give it all up to be back with her. When his brother shows up and Dominic almost buys a bank turmoil comes up.
In my personal opinion, this book did not stack up as well as the rest of Ana‘s books. The main characters of this story I did not feel as connected with. And I felt like the conflict was forced and not as well written as I have seen in her other stories. Overall, I still did enjoy it, but it’s fell a little bit short for me.

Another simple miscommunication book…. DONE POORLY. If they said what they told each other at like 70% of this book, at the very beginning, this book wouldn’t exist beyond 20 pages.

I was SO excited for Dominic and Alessandra’s book, LIKE SO EXCITED. They had such a good build up in the first two books. And it just fell flat because I believed it truly had so much potential.

WHERE WAS THE GROVELLING?! GIVE ME ALEX VOLKOV TYPE GROVELLING - I’ve seen you do it before Ana! (And that’s saying something coz I didn’t even really like that book either).

Ale is a queen I did love her and I did feel for her. She did become independent and I loved seeing her grow into herself. But there was a random moment when they just ‘had sex but no emotions’ - wait, when, why, what? That threw me and wasn’t discussed beyond a paragraph. And she tried to date SO QUICKLY - I know you wanna feel ‘single’ and do the single life… but who goes on dates that soon after a failed marriage, you don’t need to be with a man sis have a fkn breather.

Dominic is married to his job and has been for years. But then he can just magically stop, go on dinners, go on holidays when FOR YEARS he was arriving home at midnight. He clearly has sudden ‘I can’t live without her’ clarity, after ignoring his wife for years. Sure mate.

His brothers story was also so random.

Loved the little cameos of the Twisted characters again, she does this well!

That is all. Onto the last one. Please be good.
