Fun, but little else. Authors writing is “outdated” misogyny at points, particularly with the “gifting a hot woman to the hero in his hotel room” à la James Bond trope. A palette cleanser, but no scratch on dan brown who is of course the doyen of the genre. Wouldn’t bother reading the other two in the series, as it’s definitely hard to be invested in these reprehensibly bland, trope filled. characters.
