It's a cute little addition to the Mighty Nein universe, however I, personally, would not recommend this book to anyone who has not seen (or is at least aware of) Critial Role.

Recently I found myself on D&D, specifically Critical Role tiktok. I loved watching their videos and got super interested in their campaigns. Especially The Mighty Nein, thanks to this lovely character, Jester. I’ve started watching their campaign videos on YT and loving it so I knew I wanted to start reading and collecting the graphic novels of back stories for everyone. I already loved Jester so much but it only added to my love for her learning how she grew up. Can’t wait to continue the campaign and learning about all the characters back stories.
