“He's all business, she's all heart. They're a match made under the mistletoe.”

I absolutely love the books by this author. So i was slightly unsure of this one when I first started reading, it’s a bit like a Mills & Boon mixed in with an Agatha Christie novel, but once I’d got my head around the change in style I really enjoyed it.

The characters are likeable, I loved Isadora and I really enjoyed the festive setting of the book.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Maya has brought an amazing book. Since the moment I read the tropes I knew I would like it, the book is a slow burn, the tension between the character keep you intrigued in every chapter, and the ending blows up my mind I didn't expect that coming, Thank you for this ARC Maya, Hoping to read more.

“It had been months since I first saw her, first fell under her spell.”

Don’t let this absolutely beautiful cover fool you! This book is more than just your typical holiday age-gap romance. It has the sweetest moments, suspense, and even a murder mystery that will leave readers stunned.

Isadora is such a relatable character. She’s young, ambitious, and knows exactly what she wants in life. She does everything in her power to achieve her goals, which is evident in the way she runs her business. I absolutely love her character and her determination. Gordon is different than most main characters. While he still has a roughness to him, he’s very sweet and often gets flustered around Isadora. Their relationship is very fast paced, taking place over a few months. Despite their rocky start, fate continues to bring them together, amplifying their chemistry.

The suspenseful portion of the plot was super interesting. Fans of Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot, will find themselves loving this novel. Isadora being a huge fan of Agatha Christie herself becomes the detective in the case (even though there is a detective on sight). She uses her knowledge and love of mysteries to find clues and solve the murder.

I highly recommend this book for readers looking for a fast-paced, suspenseful holiday romance!!!

Gordon & Isadora make such a beautiful couple & I loved how their story enfolded.

Maya Alden is known for mostly writing smitten men who are hesitant as to how strong their feelings are and how "they should" act but the way they fall is always a treat to read.

This book revolves around G & I both fully dedicated to their business but when fate makes them meet for the first time, Isa is sure how she wants to pursue it but G? not so much.. he thinks he knows what she wants but Isadora is the woman who wont let anyone tell her how she should feel.

When their business brings then together again and sudden storm and murders drop an unexpected twist its good to see how love and business find their way to the end.

this book is fast paced romance, like someone said- love has no timeline.. there is an age gap between the MCs which was acceptable for me.

I want to thank Maya Alden for sending me this ARC.
