I absolutely love Becky’s whole deal, but this book was stressful! I didn’t love it until the ending. The last chapter was so great. I teared up actually. But still. Omg. The horrors she goes through the whole book were too much for me. I listened on audio and the narrator did a fantastic job!

A cozy Christmas read. Becky has started falling back into her more annoying habits after her time out in the last book, but it’s not as bad as it was in the previous books. She still tends to let people walk over her, but for the most part her generosity was heartwarming, and only a few times was it just plain stupid. Several scenes made me laugh out loud. Her relationship with Luke is vastly improved - they’ve both matured throughout the last couple of stories. I do have a hard time imagining being as filthy rich as they must be to be able to finance Becky’s spending habits, and I can’t imagine letting her have access to my money if I were her spouse, tbh. I’d feel so uncomfortable, and would absolutely want to keep my earnings separate from hers to be sure we don’t become destitute. But that’s me. I also can’t afford to go on honeymoon for a year, so maybe I’d feel different then. That’s besides the point. Anyway, this was a better story than some of the ones that came right before ... To The Rescue, so I’m happy with that. This was a perfect Christmasy book to read in December.

Sophie Kinsella does not disappoint! Christmas Shopaholic was full of Sophie-isms, and chaos and loads of fun! I was hesitant to read this copy, as the last few Shopaholic books have not kept my interest. I'm glad to say that Becky is back with loads of over-shopping and excuses. Definitely a quick read!

Well I did read it quite fast as it held my attention. However, as I struggle with anxiety, this book made it a bit worse, lol. It’s fast paced, Becky essentially has bad anxiety the entire time. I felt like her thoughts were going 500 miles per minute. It was sort of like the classic Hallmark movie, which the character wanted anyway so I am assuming that is sort of the point. I am not sure it’s a super Chrismassy book but involves planning Christmas with a Hallmark ending of everything works out perfectly. Even the soon to be divorced woman is some how magically happy within a day.

This woman also spends such a ridiculous amount of money. It’s kind of crazy no one addresses her shopping issues and kind of just laugh it off or don’t say anything. It’s weird. I mean I get it’s Shopaholic but still. I haven’t read the original book and I assume it’s essentially the same concept as far as that and who know if I am missing anything.

Overall, not bad, kept my attention and I could read it rather fast.

This was probably my favorite of the Shopaholic series. Becky didn’t get herself in too far over her head and brought genuine JOY in this novel. A very Happy Christmas indeed.

Without a doubt, this is an easy 5 star rating for me. I loved reading this book as much as I loved reading the first one, and all the other books in the series.
The shopaholic books are among my most loved books, and this latest instalment doesn’t disappoint.
As the cherry on top, this left me with a sweet warm and fuzzy feeling after the last page, due to a very special Bex-style Christmas. Sooooooo good!

Im glad I read this. It was occasionally frustrating but it had a great ending. This was my first Shopaholic title. It was fun.

Sweet and funny. Deeply silly and yet made me cry several times.
