I really didn't like the relationship building in this book. I appreciated that each of the three had their own place, but it felt like it was just zero to sixty, and I hated Matt through all of it.

Lily Gold doesn’t miss!!! A strong, smart, caring FMC who is realistic in her level of self awareness and a cast of MMC who are less stereotypical than some of Gold’s others. A full plot and good character motivations, just a treat from start to finish.

Leuke afwisseling tussen romantiek en spanning. Al zijn boeken waar er meer spicy scenes dan verhaal in voorkomen, denk toch niet zo mijn ding (meer). Ik heb die scenes veel overgeslagen. 

Het plot waarvoor de bodyguards ingehuurd waren was wel erg spannend en waren de karakters allemaal heel boeiend.

Super dat er zo casual over poly relaties geschreven kan worden. En denk ook zeker belangrijk voor die community dat er dit soort boeken beschikbaar zijn. Wel is het voor mij duidelijk dat dit niet mijn ding is, ik had toch moeite met de liefdesverklaringen en hoe Briar er maar gewoon vanuit ging dat ze alle 3 tegelijk wilden daten.

i couldn't put this down. i looooooved it. the depth of the characters, the character development, EVERYTHING ABOUT THE CHARACTERS

i loved the story itself too. i was sucked in from the get go and i will definitely be reading more from the author and adding this to my reread pile

The story is good, Briar is a strong female character but I don’t buy the bodyguard reverse harem. 

Luckily there is a strong stalker plot because as much as I loved these three guys, Glen was my favorite and I wanted to keep him for myself. 
I am not a sharing person after all.
The smut is good and detailed as much as it can be.

As for the reverse harem I preferred Knot so lucky from Trilina PUCCI.

Fun, sometimes stupid/cringy/doesn't quite hold up (e.g. bodyguards that are apparently great at their job but loose their client (and lover) twice, don't realize her mental health deteriorating bcs of her feeling unsafe until smth happens...),
relies a lot on trauma and hot bodies/looks for "characterbuilding," "not like the other (girls)" & damsel in distress trope,
Very over the top ("villians" e.g. police, PR assistent, stalker,...; Or situations like the home invasion, celebrity...)

Tbh i just read it for the elaborate smut and dreamy men. And even though I'm not taking it too seriously, I couldn't put the book down and read it in a day.
Btw in case you were wondering the men are sharing the woman - so to speak - but not interested in each other, which i wouldn't mind and maybe even encourage 😉

Not sure about how researched some subjects prevelent to the characters are in her books e.g. here ptsd
Even though some sensitive subject matters seem over the top and not really well fleshed out/"realistic" i can't really say, so pls look at the content warnings.
