This was really well done. A lottt darker than I expected and darker than her other books I’ve read I believe (though those definitely have dark parts as well) but really liked the character development and dynamics between the 4 main characters as well as how that evolved
Definitely a good (if hard at times) read :)

The story is good, Briar is a strong female character but I don’t buy the bodyguard reverse harem.

Luckily there is a strong stalker plot because as much as I loved these three guys, Glen was my favorite and I wanted to keep him for myself.
I am not a sharing person after all.
The smut is good and detailed as much as it can be.

As for the reverse harem I preferred Knot so lucky from Trilina PUCCI.

Please check the trigger warning.

Fun romantic suspense RH/Why Choose between a megastar actress with a reputation for being 'difficult' and the three former SAS bodyguards hired to protect her from a stalker. There are a few chasms to suspend disbelief over (nobody thinks it's inappropriate that these three guys are hooking up with their client? Three guys who just so happen to be in the habit of sharing women? And the jump from lust to love was lightening quick...). But overall really enjoyable and manages to create distinct voices and personalities for all the guys, which is not easy in a single volume RH.

Also, her former co-star from her child acting days who sold her out is named "Thom Petty" and I kept getting "I Won't Back Down" stuck in my head. I'm just a Refugee American Girl Free Fallin' while I'm Learnin' to Fly, doncha know.

This book was such a journey that I binged it in four days. A lot of the language during the sex scenes had me pausing to laugh. I didn't care for them though I liked the characters.

I thought Briar was interesting and was rooting for her throughout. Glen and Matt also caught my eye but Kenta's character was not given as much attention. Briar and Kenta's storyline just felt like the author had to haphazardly put them together. But he did talk about his struggles with fading into the background so maybe that was the point?

Briar and Matt's tension was the best. She hooked up with the other two pretty fast.

The X storyline had me STRESSED. But the ending was cute. Overall just a fun read.
