So fun! I loved Briar's relationship to all the guys and, as in "Faking With Benefits", the separate relationships were all developed really well. I'm loving this trend of romance FMC's becoming more extroverted and being able to stand up for themselves and Briar definitely fits into that category. The mystery aspect was well done and didn't feel out of place. Looking forward to continuing with "Nanny For The Neighbors"!

I throughly enjoyed this book! I’m new to Lily Gold only recently having read one previous book from her.
Things I liked: the banter between the FMC and the MMC.
I oved the back story of the guys.
The spice was well built up and kept up through the book and was very good.
I thought that the growing connection between the group was very well done.
I also enjoyed the writing style and the plot I’m general.

Things I didn’t enjoy: SPOLIER- Matt - Matt bothered me very much. I understand his past with other celebrities and I liked that information but he took it out of the FMC for way too many chapters. Then when he finally gets it together, the reasons he did what he did and said what he did weren’t enough. I feel like he should’ve been more apologetic. SPOILER
I wished that the stalker plot was more developed. If you are going to show chapters from his point of view then they should be more clear. I understand he was unhinged at best but it was sloppy and felt like he was supposed to be childlike but also obsessive but it came out very basic and weak to the story. Like maybe we didn’t need to see his pov.
Lastly, I personally feel like I probably will get the same from all the authors books. Same reverse harem plot with the men obsessed with the women, one man more so obsessed than the others that pushes her away only to be the one who loves her most then hurts her most. Also, the spice scenes tend to feel the same in each book.

Triple Duty Bodyguards was good, but Friends with Benefits was better. The spice was about the same for both books, however I feel like FwB had better character development. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand Lily Gold’s writing, and I appreciate it as a pallet cleanser between high fantasy & sci-fi reads. The portrayal of PTSD and mental illness could use some work, as someone with loved ones with PTSD etc, it can be very difficult to love and support them when they’re struggling.
