4.0

A great beginning to a new series. The drama and suspense made me finish reading it in one sitting. I gave it four stars because it was clear to me early on who the villain was and I was let down that the villain without saying who it is was continually shown to be physically stronger than trained FBI agents - a little unrealistic to me.

Creepy developing relationship between the sister of a murder victim and the FBI agent investigating her death (seems to be very inappropriate to me). Also, super unrealistic that the family member of a murder victim would be actively involved in the investigation, and Aubrey Flood demanded to be involved seemed like something a medical examiner wouldn’t do.
