I have some very mixed feelings about this book. I loved the plot itself as well as the characters but the third act breakup really pissed me off. The writing quality fluctuated and I think there were times when the author was really trying to make sure you understood the themes so she would write them out clearly and it just bothered me. It made things feel very cheesy. The first half of the book just felt very different than the second and I think it was that build into the third act breakup that made it seem sort of all over the place. However, that being said it was enjoyable and I definitely want to read the second book.
Moderate: Eating disorder, Body shaming, and Abandonment
Minor: Fatphobia

i loved this! its so long but actually really worth it. stevie is one of the best, most developed fmcs ive read in a long time and i related to her maybe a bit too much. yes this was a tropey romance but sometimes nothing hits better than that... and it had loads of dogs so i cant complain

Don't get the hype tbh.
The Hero is a pig.
The heroine isn't any better with her ✨️I'm ✨️not✨️like✨️other✨️girls✨️ attitude.
The body shaming 🤌
The slut shaming 🤌
The ✨️✨️misogyny✨️✨️
And those scenes of the team getting naked on the plane in front of the flight attendants 🤮 that weren't cute or funny, that’s harassment and a lawsuit waiting to happen.
The only good parts I read were Madison and his adorable family, the rest, no thanks.
I'm really thinking about if reading book 2 is worth it. We'll see.
