Spoiler
book 2 of Shannon and Johnny🤍

after shannon is brought to hospital following her fathers attack, her dad disappears and her older brother Darren comes back home.
johnny figures out that shannon’s dad was abusing her when he remembers what she told him after his surgery.

johnny and shannon’s families fall out, and it makes it hard for them to see each other, especially as shannon’s older brother darren, becomes more controlling and overbearing.
shannon’s mother can’t cope after her husband leaves and joey can’t deal with her so he leaves and gets involved with drugs, seemingly not for the first time.

johnny is still dealing with his injuries, and he can’t return to rugby until he is fully healed, slimming his chances of making the U20s irish team in the summer.
his parents are spending more time at home, and their relationship with the Lynch family makes it hard for Shannon to come over.

It’s so cute because they’re finally a couple so we get to see more fluffy scenes like them going to the cinema or them just cuddling in bed it’s so cute i can’t.

johnny rescues shannon and her brothers in the middle of the night when her dad arrives at the house. he burns down the house killing himself and his wife, intending to murder his children as well.

johnny’s parents foster all the lynch children, and darren returns to belfast.

johnny goes back to rugby and he makes the U20 irish squad and he also makes the senior team. - meaning he has to leave for the summer.

this book is so cute def a re-read.
i just love johnny and shannon sm and i can’t wait until November for Joey and Aoifes book.
