it's been awhile since i got a chance to binge something like this. my brain was on "no thought head empti" mode the entire noon reading this series. i would say it was an okay ride. everything was predictable. boring character development. mary sue, etc, you name it.
however, the art is pretty tho. would not recommend if you're looking for something deep and complex.

Can I just say Mr. Yu is the epitome of perfection and be done with it? Of course not, cause I have a lot to say. I'm lowkey obsessed with this. I never thought 'dying then coming back to life to exact revenge' would be a plot I'd be interested in, but it's never too late to be proven wrong. Trust me, once you open this, it's hard to get off your seat without finishing it up to the last page. It's quick to grab your attention and pull you straight into the story; before you know it, you'll be too invested to see it to its end.

↳ It's the story of a cancer-ridden woman who returns home from the hospital to spend her remaining days with her loved ones. On the event, she catches her husband in bed with her childhood best friend. Consumed by rage and heartbreak, she threatens to expose their horrible doings. In a fit of panic, her husband accidentally kills her. As she closes her eyes, her entire life flashes before her—all the things she suffered and lived through—and she asks herself if she'd make different choices if given another chance. When she opens her eyes once again, she finds herself 10 years back in the past, right before her life started to fall apart, beside all the people she considered friends in another life. This time, she makes up her mind to change her own fate and get revenge on her cheating husband and two-faced best friend.

In this story, we follow our FMC through her journey to make things right and prevent terrible things from happening to her past self. Since she already knows the outcome of every action she takes, she thought it'd be easy to avoid, but she finds that meddling with fate comes with consequences, so she is faced with new challenges every step of the way while also plotting to get her fiance and best friend to ruin each other. This time, she really notices people she overlooked in her past life—friends and coworkers who were nice to her and cared for her. She meets some great people along the way, but more importantly, she meets her ex-boss, Mr. Yu, who is the green flag to end all green flags. He unsettled her in a way she couldn't explain; he lent her a helping hand and was always there to save the day. It's literally 'he has always been there for her, but she never noticed' playing out the entirety of the book. You can't just help shipping them hard and forgetting about her jerk of a fiance and the best friend who's apparently a narcissistic psychopath. It makes the whole revenge thing even sweeter, like there was not a single thing to explain their horrible actions, and those actions in question just get worse. They deserved the ending they got very much, and the ending was all the more satisfying for it. I recommend it so much, it's definitely an enjoyable one.
