Faith had the opportunity to be so much more of an important figure in the book, rather than some sort of “stepping stone” in Greer’s life..
Greer was so bland? I didn’t realize she was the main character until I was halfway done with the book. Out of all the characters she is the least interesting. But maybe that’s a good thing? Wonderful books can written around very average people. I suspected my opinion of her would change, and so I didn’t dwell too hard on my dislike..strong dislike of her.
Then we had Cory. I LOVE Cory. He was so real, had so much potential and he was everything Greer wasn’t.
But what hurt me(dramatic much, I know) or dissatisfied me the most was the ending. As I was reading, I was in shock. This could not be it. Even if the book had a weak plot, the journey had been incredible and...it ended like...that ????
I am just...ugh I might write a full review on my blog and go into my thoughts a little more.
