There’s no mystery about why this book is a classic popular bedtime story. This book captures the most important truth parents want to convey to their children - You. Are. Loved.

Mother Tongue Notes: A sweet, quick read for young students. The repetition makes it a good group read, where you can make sure weaker readers can anticipate some of the more difficult words. I read this with a student who doesn’t have a relationship with dad, but was able to transfer the message to her mother’s love.

This book was a solid part of my childhood so I just had to dig it out to read to the children at work; they loved stretching along with Little Nutbrown Hare & spent time after we finished the book telling each other how much they loved everyone. It was very cute.

One of the sweetest children's books I've ever read -- the concept is simple, but it offers a very important look at something all children crave -- parental affection which is not only expressed often and well, but which purports to rival the unadulterated love of a child.

I purchased this book as a birthday gift for my girlfriend (it's her favorite childhood book) and ended up falling in love with it myself. It's now something we quote regularly (as sappy as that sounds).

Another great children's book on love and love between parent/guardian and child. It does start to seem like a competition as to whose love is greater (which I don't like), but an overall good message to children.

Cute book but Big Nutbrown Hare has issues. Why do you have to show up Little Nutbrown Hare every time? Just let him have one thing dude!
