This is such a good series (so far)!!!!!!! It was like I could feel everything that Mara was feeling. And Noah Shaw ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ is so incredible I canโ€™t. There was a bit of a slow middle, and the flashback chapters were a bit confusing, but other than that I think this was an amazing book with a killer cliffhanger.

Loveeee
Mara and Noah are amazing.
Would recommend for 14+ (itโ€™s a YA paranormal romance)

okay, i somewhat struggled and somewhat enjoyed it so much? i love the dark topics addressed and that it is pretty unique for a ya of its time. i enjoy all the psychological talk and aspects nad how mara develops and how noah supports her. some of it was a little clichรฉ but honestly, i did not see much of the twists come myself? maybe because i couldn't invest a large chunk of time at once to reading it. overall, i did enjoy this but i didn't think it was as good as the first book for me. i'm a little nervous to go into the finale, though.
