I wasn't sure about this book at first from the reviews and the author continuing to use "female" and "male" as nouns (annoying).  But in the end I really liked it :)  Very spicy third act.  Can't wait to read more!

The sudden reveal that Remy was actually a fae in glamour for the majority of the story felt veru rushed. Other than that, the whole book was a really good intro the the series and the world! Plus, really cool non-binary character :)

This book made me feel a lot of emotions. It was definitely a can't-put-this-book-down kind of book. I will definitely be reading the next one!

This is a safe fantasy-romance to read. It’s kind of like if Throne of Glass and FBAA had a love child. The cast is diverse and filled with lovable characters. I would have liked to see more banter between Remy and Hale though.
