WILL BE REREADING. Every book I read is so good. The ending really hits you.
SpoilerI think it is so epic that Frank was 'real' and yet he dies anyways, such an interesting character and meditation on violence

Quite possibly one of my favorite Vonnegut books. The subject material is absolutely off the wall and has one of the best morals that I still carry with me to this day (quote Vonnegut: "We are who we pretend to be, so we must be careful who we pretend to be").

The story follows a man who has agreed to be a Nazi propaganda spreader for the US Military, but as far as anyone except for three people know, he's a full blown Nazi. The story picks up after WWII, where he's making a meager living in NYC. He's suddenly approached by his missing wife and several members of a Nazi movement. Things get weird from there.

I can honestly remember laughing multiple times through the book and being enthralled by the story. This is classic Vonnegut and it's a novel that I highly recommend.
