Rajash is so stupidly hot in this book.

WHY AM I READING THESE?!

Because they're super horny and I'm in a reading slump.

Onto the next...

- Main Couple: Raahosh/Liz
- POVs Included: Dual (Raahosh, Liz)
- Book Playlist (Ice Planet Barbarians Book Series Playlist)

Before I get to my review I just have to say that this cover is funny because Liz is described as having dark blonde hair and the girl on the cover has brown hair. And Raahosh was described as being the biggest of all of the guys (over 7 feet tall) and the guy here is like 5 inches taller than her. lol

Anyways, the book itself was good! Loving these! I love that they are a little humorous and don’t take themselves too seriously. They aren’t comedies, but just a lot of witty humor that I’m a big fan of. So many lol moments.

In this one Raahosh and Liz resonate, which naturally means that he runs off with her and kidnaps her to his secret cave. Liz is pissed off at first, but soon enough they form a sweet love/hate sort of connection with each other.

I think it’s kinda cool that Raahosh, who is the most gung-ho hunter in the tribe resonated with Liz, who actually hunted with her dad as a girl and enjoys hunting. They make a cute hunting team. Cool pairing!

At first I was not a fan of Liz to be honest. I thought she was a little hard on Raahosh and I felt bad for him. But she changed her tune after he nearly died and then she heard about the sad story of his own parents. After that I loved how hard she stood up for him. You go girl!

I gotta say though that I felt the way the tribe exiled Raahosh and forced Liz to stay away from him was very strange. If she wants to go with him why can’t she? And how can they expect her to forget Raahosh so quickly and just move on after all of the khui mating not having a choice talk? It makes no sense that they would expect her to so easily walk away from her connection to Raahosh. I’m good with how it ended up at the end, but the initial forced separation made no sense to me.

Overall I enjoyed the book! I think I liked the first one a little more. Georgie was more my heroine style and she made the book really fun. But this was really great too. And as for side characters go, I loved Aehako! He seems like such a cool guy. Can’t wait for his book! Glad it’s next!

Tbh I have no idea why I’m continuing the series but this was a frustrating read- both characters are very unlikeable

While I enjoyed the love story more than the one in the second book, Barbarian Alien lost in the novelty department.
It was somewhat boring in the middle, only picking up after they met the others.

Alltogether not a bad book and it achieves what it sets out to be: an erotica about Blue Barbarian Aliens. However, due to personal (lack of) enjoyment I can only give it a 2/5.
