I loved the first book, this one even more. I didn’t know my opinion on a character or multiple characters for that matter can change so quickly and so much. I can’t say much without spoiling, but this book was everything good about the first book multiplied. The romance, the adventure, the memorable moments, the characters, it was all so amazing. It’s been about two weeks since finishing and I find myself watching videos and staring at that book wanting to immediately read it again it was so good. Definitely the best book in the acotar series.

Okay, I’m my ACOTSR review I didn’t have the full scope of Tamlin or Rhys: I now completely agree with the general public opinion. Tamlin is just such
Spoiler a gaslighting, controlling bastard!!!  And to think that Feyre would willingly stay with him when he continues to trap her, control her, and smother her until she’s caving in on herself!? Ugh. Such a bastard. <spoiler/> now, Rhysand on the other hand: is such a sweet, damaged baby. When Tamlin failed to recognize that Feyre had severe PTSD from the experience, Rhys did, and he’s the one that took steps to help her heal from that. Tamlin just ignored it, saying that he was dealing with his own shit. Well guess what, Rhys has 50x more trauma from the experience than Tamlin, so he actually understands what Feyre is going to though.
Spoiler And then he wonders why Feyre ends up with Rhys. Smh. <spoiler\>

I absolutely loved this book.

Feyre was so fierce and real -- I loved that she had to deal with her rebirth, trauma, and balance between her mortal heart and immortal body. She stayed true to herself, as a survivor, a fighter.

Rhysand and the Night Court was amazing. I love everything about their history and set up and relationships. I didn't feel attached to much of anyone in the Spring Court the way I felt protective of the Night Court. (Except Lucien, who is the best.)

I'm honestly surprised how much happened in this book. There were a lot of quests for items, treaties, deals, and training. It felt like every 20 pages was a new step, a new quest. It could have been a bit overwhelming, but it flowed and made sense and the characters had room to breathe.

SpoilerI didn't like Tamlin before, and now I can't stand him. I thought Rhys was clever and cunning, but now he's so much more; he's everything. I'm obsessed with Mor and Azriel, with Nesta and Elain as fey now, with mating bonds and how that might swing things.

I'm completely addicted.
