This book is the first book in a long time that I completely devoured. The last 200 pages I read within one night.

After I finished A Court of Thorns & Roses, I immediately began scouring the internet for Feylin playlists. The number of playlists titled "**** you, Tamlin" was... far more than I'd ever expected, to say the least. Thus, I cracked open A Court of Mist & Fury, eager to learn what exactly had turned the crowd against Tamlin. I didn't expect it to take me such a short amount of time.

A Court of Mist & Fury follows Feyre's journey after she and Tamlin escape Under the Mountain. Thus, it's important to note that this story deals with heavy topics, like trauma and abuse. But, in my opinion, A Court of Mist & Fury handles them very well. As a woman still healing from her own traumatic experience, reading about Feyre's struggle and recovery was validating, and akin to another wave of healing, all its own. This book sees Feyre come into her own: her own power, confidence, and fury.

This book made me silently scream, attempting not to wake my housemates as I reeled at the character development, plot twists, and the renowned Chapter 42. Never have I been so shocked (IT'S WORTH THE SHOCK) by a book's ending. I immediately raced to the Kindle Store to download A Court of Wings & Ruin

A Court of Mist & Fury is flawed, for sure. It lacks the simple, easy-to-follow plot A Court of Thorns & Roses held. But what it lacks for in clarity, it 110% makes up for in character.

I wish I could say more! But alas, there are too many WONDERFUL things in this book to risk spoiling them. A Court of Mist & Fury is undoubtedly worth the read.

Sarah really had the power to make us hate almost every character we loved and she did...although I'm glad for that because it brings up a light to a lot of things that should be discussed more (at least I think so). I loved every little thing about the inner circle and it made me value their friendship so much :) and the character development of Rhys chefs kiss

Idk if anything this book put me through a hell of a ride at this emocional roller coaster and I'm here for it! it reminded me of what I loved so much about books (especially fantasy books) when I was younger... the time i loved reading so much that I would literally eat them up, reading nonstop until finished and sort of threaten my family's wallet every time we passed a library lol

it may not be the best book out there but it has captured a piece of my heart and I will treasure it. it made me laugh, feel love and hatred and sadness... and god I SWEAR sometimes I LAUGHTED MY FUCKING MIND OFF i don't even know why

SpoilerI want to kill Tamlin and Lucien so bad AGH, also Rhys is a baby don't ever touch him, thanks Feyre for FINALLY grabbing a grasp of herself...

The way this book made me react is indescribable. I've never finished a book so fast in my life. The development and interactions of every characters is so unique and different. From the very beginning, you just know deep down who the protagonists are and who yhe antagonists are.

I started reading the ACOTAR series because I didn't understand the hype behind it. I get it now.
