So far I've been really enjoying this series, I’ve been listening to them all on audiobook. This book didn’t feel quite on par with the other ones for me. It was an enjoyable listen but I feel like maybe it should have been earlier in the series because the previous ones were just so jam packed with action, adventure, and intrigue that I think this one fell a little short.

I love Vanessa Vale and Renee Rose, and together they are fantastic. This Wolf Ranch book is intense and addictive.

When Levi hears he has to share the bunkhouse with a human he is adamantly against it because he is still affected by the four years he was forced to live with humans as a teenager after his parents were killed. When he and his wolf get a look at Charlie the gorgeous female vet they quickly insist she will be staying in the bunkhouse with him and him alone!

Charlie is overwhelmed seeing the large, sexy cowboy sheriff, but she knows living in close quarters with a lawman isn’t smart. A phone call the next day with her BFF convinces Charlie to live a little and have some fun with the sexy ranch hand, punching her VCard is on her agenda. When Levi’s overhears Charlie’s end of the conversation with his super shifter hearing he is intensely aroused to learn she’s a virgin and interested in riding him. He proposes a 14 night fling where he teaches her all about what she’s been missing.

Their relationship quickly goes from just sex to strong emotions. The authors have some twists and bumps for the lovers to overcome during a quick yet throughly enjoyable read.

I received an ARC and voluntarily posted my review.

Another good installment to the Wolf Ranch series. I have one regret, and that is I wish the book had been longer.

I liked Levi and Charlie together. They had chemistry, and they seemed to click from the very beginning. I also liked that Levi worked off the ranch in a position of authority. I thought that added a little something extra to his situation of being a half shifter..

I felt for Charlie and the predicament she found herself in with Dax. She seemed to be straightforward and intelligent when it came to her job. What I did wonder about was how she managed to get herself trapped, I'm glad it was explained later, because it made more sense given her personality. I also appreciated the diversity that appeared in the book.

I could not figure out how Charlie was going to get out of the situation unscathed, but, leave it to 2 talented writers to come up with a twist I hadn't thought of for Charlie. Simple, easy, and to the point. I also appreciate seeing how each "mate"
in the series handles finding out the other person is actually a wolf shifter.

I appreciated the epilogue. I'm a big fan of epilogues. An additional plus was the bonus content. I admit, I'm just greedy. I wish we could have spent more time with Levi and Chatlie beyond the bonus material. The question is, "Did they ever take that next step?"

A sweet, sexy romance with a bit of intrigue and suspense.

I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book received via BookFunnel.

I'm loving this series. Each book is standalone, so you don't have to read them in order if you don't want to. The characters are all interesting and different from each other. The stories aren't just same-same. I really enjoyed the change in Levi, from not wanting anything to do with humans to accepting Charlie as his mate. Loved Charlie's strong character, it was a perfect match.
