Was Miles supposed to charm me? Because I don’t feel charmed...
I read Her Royal Highness first but after finishing this I feel like Millie is just a southern version of Daisy?
Pros: Very quick read to get you out of a slump. I liked the parents lol some parts genuinely made me laugh and smile.
Cons: doesn’t dive deeper into anyone’s background? I thought this would be romance heavy but we get so little of that? Most of the time random events just happened without the plot going anywhere? Randomly mentioning how good looking someone you don’t like is??? Okay I’ll shut up now. It wasn’t for me as much as I hoped it would be.
Despite all of that, I will read book #3 which I hope will add to these stories.

Very fluffy and there were things that stood out to me as very artificial. It was okay, but found one of the reviews written by someone from Scotland interesting. They explained why a whole lot of the book was quite inaccurate and that made a lot of sense to me.

Nothing too heavy about this princess story but a surprisingly cute and quick read!

I didn’t enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed Her Royal Highness. I found daisy to be immature and her relationship with her sister bothered me enough to take me out of the story. I spent half my time annoyed with Ellie and half the time annoyed with Daisy.
