Got this for my four-year-old cousin. Poems are pleasant and simple; a little much for her still I think, but a good choice for a younger kid.

Such a lovely poetry child’s book. I loved some of these poems so much, they were funny and witty and heartwarming. Some were boring and I realized the more I read the more serious the poems became. Still amazing, loved it.

this is a book of poems some are pretty funny and some are kinda dark. I would recommend this book to people who like poems or if they don't know what to read.my favorite poem in this book is 1 sister for sale because i can replace ''sister'' with ''brother''.

Where The Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein — Part of my childhood reread project: Pure delight and I must say it hasn’t been 20 years since I read this. It sits joyfully on my bookshelf next to other the other poets. Pairs well with David the Gnome, Fragglerock, and The Muppet Show reruns.
