I love a queer romcom! And this one is GIVING all the sapphic love I was hoping for when I picked it up. The Do’s and Donuts of Love is the perfect book for anyone who loves a thicc BIPOC MC, Great British Bake Off, and the gayest of romance!

Shireen has just begun to get over her break up with her ex when she starts filming on a reality baking show. Think GBB, but for young Irish contestants. She knows it’s coming, but when her ex, Chris, pops up as a competitor, it’s a bit of a shock. So she has to compete and try to stay calm, because she doesn’t want to look like the show’s villain… there’s always a villain on reality tv.

Along with her negative and yet still confusing feelings about her ex, there is also the beautiful red-headed girl, Niamh. And I LOOOOOOOOOVE a Love Triangle. Two people fighting over me is such an enticing feeling.
