The most rollercoaster toxic book I’ve ever read but it was fabulous????? Help HAHAHA even more toxic and dramatic than Chuck and Blair and that’s saying something

I struggled with the book pretty much straightaway the clothes descriptions were just too much and it’s given a main part for nothing

Didn't read the back of the book. Wanted to know what the hype was about (never listen to hype book again fr) and the old covers looked cool. This isn't a fantasy book. This is Gossip Girl with rich people about their stupid problems nobody cares about. And them always saying "I have this bag from blablabla and this small island (which is not smalll)" Hate that. The old covers are so misleading. I'm not surprised they got new ones which look shit.

This book is a train wreck. From the lack of plot to the run on sentences that led nowhere. The only thing described properly were the clothes, which was more of a charming character attribute that added nothing for me. There were inconsistencies and metaphors aplenty but for an almost 500 pages book I expected more. It was a London gossip girl? Where was London dialect is this book? I finished this book but it pissed me off. I’m not sure if I’ll read more of the series because I really didn’t enjoy the journey. .

DNF 80% LOL don’t bother reading this book. It doesn’t have a plot nor any good characters. Everyone is toxic and nothing happens except for infidelity which is not surprising. I’m shocked about how many metaphors this author conjured in the span of 400 pages. Perhaps 400 metaphors. Annoying.
