Took a while for it to pick up. At first was a bit hard to follow because of the lengthy descriptions of the celebrities. Once I didn’t spend as much time trying to memorize the descriptions it became easier to follow. It did take a good half of the book to really get really good. I also felt like for all the description that happened at the beginning of the book a lot was crammed into the end. A decent read.

The premise is interesting, but the writing style just didn't hold my attention. I just read an Ephron essay on the feeling you get when you're sucked into a good book and this was not the book to read right after that.

This was a really fun, enjoyable read! It reminded me a bit of Sophie Kinsella books. The pace of the book was nice, and it was very fun and entertaining. I liked the main character, Ella, and thought she was very authentic. Good plot, well-written, and I liked the Hollywood setting and how reading it made me feel like I'd been taken to that place! Fun, light-hearted, recommended!

This frothy confection of a novel has a much bigger heart and packs a bigger punch than you might anticipate from its delightful bubblegum cover. If you're a lover of Hollywood or gossip, it's a perfect novel for you--half of the fun is trying to guess who the litany of blind items could possibly be. It may also partly make you hate Hollywood a little bit for the less than glamorous truths it lays out, but ultimately it has a good message and a peppy heroine you can't help but rooting for.

Cute story that got me out of my slump. I didn't like Nick 🤔🤔

I thought this was quite enjoyable. Easy read and liked the way it ended. Sure, stupid choices were made along the way, but overall, it was cool!

Quick and light read, but like Hollywood, this novel lacked true depth.
