This was a bit middle-of-the-road for me. It had an interesting premise, plus I was really looking forward to Julian's happily ever after. However, my attention to the characters fluctuated throughout. It still had that feeling of comfort I always got from reading Ms Cosway's books.

Fauxmance was not AT ALL what I expected. The good news, it was so much MORE. I've been anxiously waiting for Julian's book since reading Showmance. It was a HUGE plus seeing some familiar faces. I say this with every L.H. Cosway book I read, but it needs to be repeated, I can NEVER get enough of Cosway's perfectly imperfect characters. They are so REAL. I really related with Ellen and Julian was caused SO many heart eyes. I kind of hope there will be books for Cam and Nick, but we shall see!!!

An okay read, with some great parts...but not the best this author has written.

I didn't like this one as much as the first one. It was still okay but the first one was so much better.

Loved it

You can’t help but fall in love with Julian and Ellen. Both so amazing and so fun to watch evolve. Plentiful romance, lust, and of course love.

The reason why I read this book was because it had the "social anxiety" theme. I've been struggling with social anxiety for almost the rest of my life and through this book, I could see what was it like from the third person eyes.

I’m sad. I like this author. But some of the “romantic” scenes were so contrived! I skipped a lot. Sometimes it felt like the author thought what porn fantasy can I add to this book? Sex party with famous people ✅ it was obnoxious. I like the characters she creates and her writing style.

The premise was interesting but I really got into it when Julian learned Ellen's secret.

Love the characters! Two good people with different personalities became friends then fell in love. The progression of their relationship wasn't forced. No cheap drama. Very steamy once they started (which is around 50%+ of the book). I really enjoyed it overall.
