I hope every person who's Black and/or Jewish and/or queer and/or Southern and/or fat reads this book so they can see themselves reflected in such a smart, fun, passionate, thought-provoking book. And then I hope every person who's not Black and/or Jewish and/or queer and/or Southern and/or fat reads this book so they can see why those of us who are need books like this.
