A stellar finish to the second two book series. As much as Raul was annoying, I think seeing her as the main character through him changes that viewpoint. Following a savior who knows that fact from birth is boring, this is more nuanced, you never really know all she knows, unique way to do this type of savior sci-fi. Writing wasn't as tight or engaging as Hyperion and it did drag, but I was still drawn by the characters more than I tend to these days.

I gave this 4 stars because overall the series was good and this had a sweet and sad ending to the story. But man, it's clear the editor went on vacation. This book was a couple hundred pages longer than the others in the series and there was A LOT of filler. As I said, good ending to a good series, but this particular book could have been streamlined.
