It was great! I loved it! Although now of course I am sad since the series is over. I am going to really miss Sabrina and Daphne!

Spoiler Alert:

I was so confused when she was going up to the altar to marry Bentley and not Puck. I was so relieved when Puck came flying in and made the world right again. Although I really wish he would have elaborated more on what happened when she left Bentley at the altar. I know Snow White also left Prince Charming that way as well, but I've always wanted to learn the details. Such as the looks on Charming's and Bentley's faces. And I actually feel bad for Bentley because of course he never actually ended up with the girl he wished to marry. I wish he would have written another series about her daughters. Although maybe he is. I have no idea, but all the sites I have looked do not say he has written any more series about any Grimms. I recommend reading the NERDS series, because I am going to read them and they are by the same author.

We listened to this entire series over the past couple years. Very fun!

This whole series is top tier. The ending made me cry, the romance was so cute. I was so sad this was the last book and there weren't anymore left. Basil is adorable too. Read this series! I loved it!

If these books weren't so quick and easy to read, I would have quit quit a long time ago. This book was actually pretty good overall, but the 2 star rating is because the ending is horrible, and it's the ending for the entire series.
Spoiler The book ends with Sabrina telling her two daughters (older 14) that they are Grimm's. After all the bitterness she had and frustration at her parents for keeping that from her, she does the same to her kids? Not likely.
Overall, not a series I'd recommend to really anyone. There are far better spin offs of fairy tales.

Oh, for heaven's sake. For a book series that involved an Editor and Revisors, this series could have used a better one. Beowulf did not chop off Grendel's head to kill him. Grendel bled to death on the floor of his mother's underwater lair. Beowulf decapitated Grendel's corpse.

And why is Mordred now a warlock? Was he a warlock before and I just missed that?

I'm sorry, I just can't finish this. I started skimming and at Ch. 8 I'm calling it quits. I read the ending to see how they defeat the Mirror and that's it. It's just too full of wallowing and useless bickering.

4 1/2 stars, rounded up because, well, it's the last book in the series

My main gripe with this book is that I just don't find the war stuff that interesting. The books that have more mystery and adventure are more fun to me, it's also why I don't really love book 7 (tho there are other reasons for that as well, hence the lower rating). And gosh this is so obviously a children's book, when
Spoilereveryone was so shocked and worried about Jake wanting to kill Nottingham and Mayor Heart my reaction was "well yeah of course he does, and he should tbh", but, children's book. Also the power of love saving the day is so cheesy but damn it, it still made me cry

SpoilerAlso lowkey #Justice for Graham (or whatever his generic man name was), Sabrina and Puck were having a bit of a case of main character syndrome there. ALSO it's honestly so unbelievable that they wouldn't have told their children about everything, like WHAT is wrong with you two
