Teagan Brooks has made me like MC books. Okay maybe it's just her books. Copper and Layla story is a great read. You really do need to read Blackwings MC series before you read this one.

Okay, I enjoy the writing style, characters and worlds. This is my first of three by this author so far, and she is incredibly promising. I like that these are not cliffhangers and the grammar is good. However, again and again in her books, too much happens off page. I'd rather make everything less complicated and show me more of what is actually happening. It gets confusing b/c you aren't seeing all the actions and thoughts and that tends to drive me nuts.

Love me some Copper

An action packed read with some great alpha males. Loved Copper he was amazing and as president he did everything for his MC. Layla was on the run not sure who to trust but when she is forced to trust Copper and his club it doesn’t come easy but they are battling their attraction for each other while trying to keep everyone safe.

Love the idea - but hard to follow

I loved the story, but there were so many characters I had hard time following. There must be a previous story or stories, but there is no info about that in the prologue. Couldn't finish easily.

Copper.

This was soooo good. I love the Blackwings originals but there’s someone about Copper that made me fall even more. Can’t wait for the next one!

Loved it

It's in your best interest to read the original Blackwings MC , or you may get lost.

I could not put my kindle down. This is a highly addicting series. I couldn't get enough of Copper and Layla.

I wonder if this is a spin off of another series. I was just confused the whole time and not really connecting with the characters

What happens?
Layla is on the run, running away from people that want to sell her and running from the scary man that rescued her roughly from the boars. Slowly she begins to realise that Copper isn't one of the bad guys and is one of the guys trying to stop them.
Copper is confused and mesmerised by the strange woman who showed up at his buddies' cabin. He knows she is lying to him but can't prove how or why. Slowly he manages to get her to trust him and him to trust her and she reveals more to her story and why she is how she is.

This was a good read and interesting development to the whole Annabelle, Ember saga.
