It was so sad!!!!! I wish there was a chapter of Patroclus and Achilles in the afterlife. This was so sad but a great story of the Trojan War.

This was an absolutely beautiful retelling of the story of Achilles through the eyes of his beloved Patroclus. Another well done book Madeline.

I'd probably give it a 4.5/5, but I always like to round up.

It was a great book. A great re-telling. Any fan of Greek mythology would enjoy it.

Had she really thought I would not know him? I could recognize him by touch alone, by smell; I would know him blind, by the way his breaths came and his feet struck the earth. I would know him in death, at the end of the world.
