The narrator device is a little on the nose but the story grew on me.

Aunque brille. No es una estrella.

One of the worst endings ever. Ive read all her other books and liked them. I don't hate many things but I can say I hated the ending.

I couldn't decide how I felt about this book so I only gave it three stars. It was well written and the characters were well developed but I really couldn't say that I liked any of them. There wasn't an overall plot, unless you count everyone having mad sex with everyone else.

Really not her best book and very unlike her style of writing. I kind of liked the idea behind the book but something about just didn't do it for me and was left feeling disappointed.

The brightest star in the sky is pretty much okay. The story revolves round the loves and lives of the residents of 66 star street narrated by a very fun spirit. The characters are all very lovable and each of their parts are very well written and nicely interwoven. But I found the book not-so-gripping...it took me quite a while to finish the book and by the prologue I sensed a loss of patience. Its a bit dragging and despite that I was curious to see what happens to all the characters, but nothing out of the box,all kind of predictable. Nevertheless a good piece of work where serious issues are dealt entwined with love and humour.

Loved this book! Very smart and original. Keeps you guessing til the last page. If you are confused, don't worry, it will make sense at the end.
