Will I be reading the next book? Yes, probably, but only because I'm trying to figure out the genre. Mostly, I found this to be on the level with Stephanie Plum. Fine, but meh.

Tough one for me to review. I really did enjoy the read but it was just a bit much for me. Too perfect. The people are all exceptional at everything and everything just works out to perfect. Felt like a bit of a spoof but that wasn’t intentional. I guess if you are just looking for a fun read this may be it but I’d really have to shut off all reality to rate it higher.

A thriller crossed with a romance. Exciting and engaging, with over-the-top action pieces and characters. Hugely entertaining.

A fun read. Great sexual chemistry between Fox and O'Hare. O’Hare is definitely different from the Stephanie Plum character, but still loveable in her ackward, geeky, kind of way.

I am always hesitant to rate these fun reads more than three stars because they aren't literature. You learn nothing. But, boy can they lighten the mood and put a smile on my face. I'm not sure how much of this is supposed to be Goldberg, but it's ALL Evanovich. She excels at the bumbling expert and sexual tension. She is a master at creating a perfect expert and then using them as a foil for her terrific female characters. I want to be friends with all of her female characters. Hell, I want to BE them!

While not as funny as the Stephanie Plum series, it was a great read and had much more depth
