Good! Cute! Found family! Learning to love yourself! Learning to care for others! I enjoyed this romance, and many things about it, but I do think we skipped over some of the emotional development, and another 100 pages would do a lot toward fleshing out the characters' backstories. But that's just not what this book was, and honestly, that's okay. It was a fun day of reading!

As usual, Tessa Dare knocks it out of the park. This one wasn’t anything amazing or noteworthy, but it was everything you want from a historical romance: fun, swoony, sweet, and with a man on his knees in love.

Delightful. I loved every single thing about this. It had me laughing and giggling and swooning. So obsessed with how cute Chase is with the two girls. I loved how witty and fun his character was. Alexandra is amazing as well.
