This was a cute read, and probably my favorite of the series. Brady has what for most baseball players would be a career ending injury but he is determined to get back in the game. He goes down to Florida for his rehab and meets Rylee, his physical therapist. They start off as friends and she is adamant she will not sleep with him. However she does agree to be his tour guide, since every time he is there for spring training he has never seen the sights.

Brady has a lot of history he has to get through and through all his loss he fights to stay in the game. When he learns Rylee represents everything he lost, he wants to run, but he fights hard. This one pulled my heart strings more than once.

I absolutely loved this book. It's the 2nd book in the series and it had me laughing one minute and crying the next. Brady is definitely one of my favourites and although he gave the impression of being a tough guy, he was hiding the most heart breaking pain ever. Rylee was the perfect person to heal him and I loved their story. I could actually feel his frustrations with his injury and was willing him on and loved that Rylee was so positive and encouraging. I read this book in 1 day and was gutted when it ended.I cannot wait for Sawyers book, that one is definitely going to be epic

This is a different dual POV, we spend the first half with Brady's point of view and the second with Rylee's. I actually really enjoyed that because it let me get attached and also kept certain plot elements hidden.

This book made me cry, which usually doesn't happen with smutty romances. Samantha Christy knows how to drag her characters through hell and back.

Another great book. Once I started, I couldn't stop reading until I finished. I loved Brady.

Ms Christy is my favorite author. I can't wait for Sawyer's book.

Just when he thinks his pitching career is the best it has ever been, Brady gets sidelined with an injury that could end his career. When his PT Rylee becomes more to him than just his therapist, sparks fly and the two seem to be headed towards a HEA. But when the devastation from his past comes to light can Brady let go of his demons to find true love again? Or will the baggage that Rylee brings to the table be too much for him to bare? I cannot express how beautifully heartwarming this story was. Between the characters and their emotional journey to overcome their own heartbreaking pasts, this book deserves more than 5 Stars. Once again, Samantha Christy does not disappoint. I cannot wait for more in this series.

It's no secret that I love just about everything that Samantha Christy has written. I love how she weaves her characters throughout her three series (The Mitchell Sisters, The Stone Brothers, and now The Perfect Game Series). Because of this, we get the opportunity to check in with characters that we already love, while getting to know in depth side characters from previous books. Brady was a teammate of Caden's in the first book of The Perfect Game series, Catching Caden.

Based on what we had learned about Brady, I knew there was a mystery behind what drove him in his womanizer ways, and I knew it was going to be big. And it was. Rylee became Brady's physical therapist after an injury during a game. And Rylee was the perfect complement to him. The chemistry between these two was off the charts!

The amount of research that Samantha Christy must put in to get the details correct in her novels is obvious; understanding the injuries, surgeries and procedures, therapies, baseball rules and superstitions, and so much more- all of this make her characters and plot more realistic. Her characters are likable (and lovable!) and the plot well-developed. I love how this book was broken into two parts- the first told from Brady's point of view, and the second from Rylee's.

Benching Brady was a hit, and I highly recommend! Now I am anxiously awaiting Sawyer's story!

Ohhh I knew Brady's story would be sweet and a little sad. His back story will pull all your heartstrings and make you really want to give him a hug. After injuring his elbow in a game, Brady meets Riley, the girl he didn't know he was looking for. She doesn't know she needs him in her life either. They begin a casual relationship with a rule to not reveal any intimate details about each other. This of course doesn't work in the long run and thus begins the twists and turns of the storyline as they make their way to each other.

Brady would be an easy character to not like on the surface, but you realize quickly that he is deep down a sweetheart with so much in his past stacked against him. This story will leave you with all the feels and a smile on your face with the sweet ending.

I listened to this title and Zach Webber and Erin Mallon give another amazing performance in this series. There is more emotion to this one than Catching Caden and both performers delivered this story with passion and draw the listener into what the characters are feeling.
