This series is somehow able to make me laugh out loud while I'm reaching for the light switch cause I can't read any more in the dark.
The third installment once again manages to make you think about really complex concepts and fill you with existential dread while having the time of your life. Read this, but start at the beginning, John Dies at the End and This book is Full of Spiders are also well worth the read!

This book will really make you ask, "What the hell did I just read?"... In a good way, well, interesting way.
David Wong is brilliant, and he can really make me laugh, and I have no idea how he keeps all these different plot lines and time lines in his head. That being said, I think the first book, [b:John Dies at the End|1857440|John Dies at the End (John Dies at the End, #1)|David Wong|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1189289716l/1857440._SY75_.jpg|1858059] was probably my favorite, and for me the easiest to follow. This one got a bit squirrelly at the end and I had trouble keeping track of what was going on.
It's not my normal genre, and I don't know why I ever picked up this series in the first place, but I'm glad I did. If you do pick this up, it will be the most bizarre, sick and twisted book you will ever read. Definitely not for the fainthearted.

This book was really interesting. And weird... It took me forever to finish as well. I liked the book, but at the same time it was just so crazy and weird that it was hard to follow along as well. It was okay but I definitely would not read it again.Â
