Read this for my AP Lit class and thought it was SO GOOD. Very challenging for me to read at first but after I got used to it and started to get invested I loved it!!Â
Some of my fav aspects were the allusions to the Bible and how that plays into dickens perception of the world. UGH I could talk ab it for so long istg. I love the characterizations. I think dickens does a pretty good job keeping characterizations consistent (except with Pross) and I think that adds a lot to the story.Â
Moderate: Confinement
Minor: Domestic abuse, Panic attacks/disorders, and Gore
