I was quite surprised with how much I enjoyed this one given the mixed reviews. I liked seeing the different dates unfold and I thought the main character was actually really strong and independent. The love interest however was actually really spiteful at times.

I gave this 3.5 stars, very cute and funny book I loved reading about all the different whack ass people Kate went on dates with and it ended very cute and magical. Loved the Christmas vibes of this town its like a little gingerbread land of magic.

I was really surprised with this one! Not with it's ending but with the many witty and funny scenes and the realism within the book and the characters.

I'm not really a Christmassy reader so when my bookclub picked up this book to read in December, I wasn't too excited. But I ended up really liking the story. It was fun, it was easy but it was also funny and relatable and I really like that in a book.

The only thing I didn't like as much were the many unnecessarily long descriptions. I don't like extensive descriptions in general and these were often incredibly long. Aside from that, I really did enjoy this book and I would totally recommend it to my friends as a fun read!

The perfect Christmas-y romance. Totally delightful, would definitely describe as a “comforting” read. Predictable, but very fun, with a few little twists.

Woman own an entirely unpractical car to live in a town that had a snowstorm for 8/12 days. Guess this is a love story of the benefits in living in a walkable town serviced by public transit more than anything else.

This book was 80% the characters being cozy in an English village and for that reason we love it

Vähän liian pitkä, mutta muuten oikein herttainen!❤️
