There’s no doubt Richard Brandon has had an amazing life. Unfortunately, genuinely interesting stories are undermined by his ego and his proclivity to exaggerate the impact he and his companies have had in the world.

Enjoyed listening to this book. Interesting perspectives on business, adventure, and life in general.

I really tried to persevere but it put me into a reading slump. For me I found it very interesting but because each chapter was unrelated there was nothing making me want to carry on reading, like no story. I would like to pick this back up again in the future though as I felt I learnt a lot.

This man is just amazing, if only all bosses were the same. With the Pandemic & cost of living & climate issues, its great to read something so positive.

I liked it. Learnt more about Branson, but not very much about business or life. The narrator is slightly unreliable in places, but it's an autobiography, and one where you played devil's advocate with yourself would read all wrong.

Quite an interesting character Richard Branson is. And an enjoyable autobiography.

Richard Branson is an all around interesting man. It's obvious that he's devoted to his family, to adventure, and to creativity in business.
I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Branson better as I hadn't read a lot about him. It would be difficult to not know that Branson is a dare devil businessman, but I just had never delved into the particulars. It was great to get a peek behind the curtain. In the social arena and in his writings, Branson appears to be an open book. Ha, stupid pun!
The writing is choppy, so it helped to take frequent breaks. The action of the business investments and decision making is what kept me invested.
Thank you to the publisher for sending me an ARC of Finding My Virginity through a Goodreads giveaway in exchange for an honest review.

Richard Branson continues to tell us his life-story. In Finding my Virginity he describes the ups and downs that happened since the 1998 when the first part of his memoir Losing my Virginity was published.
Richard is a successful entrepreneur with his Virgin brand working across many industries, ranging even into space Virgin Galactic. But besides being an entrepreneur, he is also a loving family man and philanthropist. In this book, he shares his views on business, family and current situation in the world. I loved Branson's positive outlook on life which is so apparent from reading his memoir.
IS THIS A BOOK FOR ME? Great for aspiring entrepreneurs, leaders who like to think differently and take risks.
GOOD: I am always reading more books at once and I only wanted to read a little bit of this book since I was reading more books at once, that I normally like. But somehow after little time reading it, I found myself on page 190. This book reads itself. It's long but very interesting.
BAD: With all the autobiographies and especially the ones from business leaders, one has to approach very critically to reading it. Branson mentions and admits his mistakes several times which I really appreciated but still, I would be careful and filter all the information.
FAVORITE QUOTE: “The key enterprising skills I used when first starting out are the very same ones I use today: the art of delegation, risk-taking, surrounding yourself with a great team and working on projects you really believe in.”
