Colorful and fun with great undertones of forgiveness, vulnerability and reciprocity. I only wish it was much longer- I want more Coyote Doggirl, dang it!

This was a graphic novel western with some feminist ideas. That general concept reminds me of Outlawed by Anna North. This book always kept me on my toes. It was surprisingly funny and light hearted yet sometimes violent and profane and had some dark themes. The illustrations were incredible and the bright colors gave such life to the story. The plot isn’t the most intense but there were so many other emotions and vibes (like a sense of surrealism maybe?) I felt from this book that I still felt impacted. I read it in only 3 sessions and really enjoyed it.

I love horses.
The first 3/4s of it is very meandering but that last 1/4 was very nice. I might be overthinking it but the natives in this were a tad on the tropey side for my liking.

I read it so greedily! It was wonderful. The storyline was badass and notably a hint at what's gone before but with something so fresh and new and lovely. The colours and styles are also just so gorgeous and definitely something to pore over. Will read it again in the not too distant future and I'm sure I'll enjoy it in different way!!
