I'm not sure what to say, this one has a genuinely good art which is why it gets three. There are a lot of nudes here, but they are absolutely not sexy - they are mostly depressing. I don't know why I was expecting anything else. The art is good though and the people are drawn very realistically - which I was very into, but... you know, I just couldn't care for them at all.

I really love observing representations of sexuality and Comics in this book was really interesting for the way it contextualized sex and relationships. Well none of the individuals in this book seemed happy with their sex life Prado did manage to show how sex figured in to these brief little exchanges between people who seem constantly to be looking for something. Tangents really seems to be a book about the absence of real connection and how sex often allows us even if it’s just for a moment to find another human being and truly be with that person.
