The series went from barely mediocre to total crap. There is so much better science fiction/fantasy out there. I can't imagine how the movie versions are going to make any of this work. Waste of time.

I wanted to love this book; I really did! The truth is, however, I kinda skimmed through the last 200 pages.

Tris and Four’s relationship was what I loved about Divergent. This book ruined literally everything. Between the lies, the arguments, and the anger.... their relationship just stopped holding the same appeal.

Because I saw a spoiler and knew what was coming, I didn’t even really bother to pay much attention to the ending. I got through the book, but I didn’t really care about any of the characters anymore.

That ending.... One of the best stories i ever read. Great writing style, great character development BUT I hated the ending. I literally felt empty inside. I can't explain it, but I loved the series so much and that ending just ruined it for me. I know it's the author's choice and lots of you may not agree with me but it's just the way I feel.
