Such a fun book. There is a cat and an ostrich on every page. The kids love finding them. I could read this book over and over.

How we loved reading this book to our children; each page has hidden delights of discovery: cats tucked into clouds and grass, the mysterious ostrich peeking from a crowd of Manhattan commuters, the dog sliding in the shadows of Central Park, and the marvelous Marvin himself, playing a delighted tourist.

This one was an extra special find for my son, it's a great story....and it's set in New York (my favorite place!).

This is one of my all time favorite books from when I was growing up. I loved Marvins simple fun story and searching through pictures for all the hidden images. I don’t know if I’ve found them all even now.
I loved rediscovering the book with my own kids. One of my daughters first instances of reading along in a book was the last page of this book ... Helvetica “dashed out” hearing her little 2yo voice saying dashed out was a heart melter
