Their relationship is intensifying and they’re both starting to work through what makes them so damaged as individuals. Entertaining.

Wow. Just wow.

Volumes 31-33 covers the Cain Heel arc (which does not seem to be ending anytime soon). As a fan of Ren, I found it interesting for him to get back in touch with his original self. He's like Shakespearean-level tragic.

Most of the time I'm not sure how to react when it comes to Kyoko and Ren acting out the Cain Heel siblings, Cain and Setsuka. Cause I'm like this is incest territory y'all but I'm also proud of Kyoko because she gets to kinda explore her feelings for Ren thought Setsuka. But of course this got all messed up cause of Shotaro (have I mentioned my immense dislike of him?).

Throughout this volume, I was just so proud of Ren and Kyoko. They're both realizing that they're having feelings again and I think Ren is finally accepting that he CAN be happy *wipes tears from eyes*

But I'm really conflicted with Kyoko...
Spoiler Shotaro shows up and is a complete Shotaro. He once again accuses Kyoko of being completely boy-obsessed but this time he accuses her of being obsessed with Ren. He harasses her into saying "I don't care about Mr. Tsuruga at all!... You taught me that love and infatuation make humans foolish all the way! I don't want to go back to being a foolish human being and I have no intention of doing so! Even if I make a mistake and end up being an idiot again no way would it be for Mr. Tsuruga!" So, when Kyoko realizes she is falling for Ren, she is freaked out. She is petrified of returning to her previous self in which she devoted everything to Shotaro. If Shotaro hasn't pushed himself back into her life, if she would have reacted differently.
