aunque fue la primera obra de King, ya se nota ese estilo que lo caracteriza y que no me había convencido hasta que leí Misery.
la primera vez que leí Carrie me pareció meh, pero esta vez puedo ver el porque fue una obra tan aclamada en su época (y en la actualidad).

Stephen King es un genio, es un Allan Poe contemporáneo, además que con esta novela inicio su gran carrera de escritor. Puesto así, es una novela que refleja la obsesión malsana hacia la religión y los deseos de Carrie de ser libre.

This book wasn’t scary...but it was very unsettling. I thought I wouldn’t like the writing style but I was presently surprised by how quickly I flew through this! This is my first Stephen King novel and so far I’m really excited to continue!
