Another great book in this series with a unique relationship that was explored very well. It had some really funny moments and overall was really good, but I felt it dragged on a bit at the end. I wish that there had been more a sexual relationship throughout the book and then the romance slowly built rather than that being the 2nd half of the book.

Same with Gavin's backstory. I wish it had been slowly revealed throughout the story rather than a longer speech at the end. Still a very good book but not my fav of the series (surprising since this was the one that made me want to read the series!)

This was a cute book. I had a good time and I really liked it. I love a good grumpy/sunshine romance.

Chloe Liese always hits with the representation in her books. Gavin's chronic pain and Oliver's anxiety are so well written in a real and respectful way. What was missing for me in this was Oliver's arc. Gavin is given so much space to grow, and I feel like Oliver doesn't get that. I would have loved to see more of him growing into his new position and building up confidence. Additionally, I felt that we never really see a resolution of Gavin's initial feelings towards Oliver, his resentment and jealousy just kind of go away over time and those feelings are never really addressed between the two of them.

Awe Oliver and Gavin were so cute together!!!

I liked it, I'll always enjoy and good dislike to like book trope :)

I do have my critics, like I didn't really understand what the first chapter that takes place four years before the actual timeline of the book was added like the book would have been fine without it.

I also do feel like the relationship building between Oliver and Gavin was rushed... but regardless of such I still liked them. They really captured the grumpyxsunshine trope well!

Also, I absolutely loved seeing Aiden and Faye as parents!!! Lennie is such a sweet little girl, I love her relationship with her uncles and parents.
