I've heard nothing but excellent things about Chloe Liese's books and her Bergman Brothers series in particular. I kept seeing so many glowing reviews for this one that I did something I hardly ever do and that is pick up the fifth book in a series without having read the first books in it.

And y'all! The hype for Chloe's books is real! I adored so much about this book! The grumpy/sunshine trope! The queer romance! The anxiety rep! The neurodivergent rep! The chronic pain rep! The family shenanigans! Gavin's poker grandpas! I loved everything about it! I will definitely be picking up more of Chloe Liese's books in the future!

This series is incredible, and this book exceeded all my expectations! A grumpy/sunshine forced proximity romance featuring characters with chronic pain and anxiety.

The Bergman brothers series are my comfort books!
I love the slow burn, no third act break up, grumpy/sunshine trope and enemies to lover!
Oliver and Gavin feel like two compete people with their own lives, insecurities, desires and goals before then even think that they have feelings for each other.

the time skip and all the weddings had me crying and reliving the first four books all over again

I cannot wait for the rest of the series!

Reading Chloe Liese’s Bergman Brothers series is like being wrapped up in a cozy blanket or warm hug. I just adore all of these characters who are so sweet and vulnerable. Oliver and Gavin’s story is a romance lovers trope filled dream-  enemies to lovers, workplace romance, and sports romance (soccer specifically). As always my heart swelled for the characters as they fell in love and worked on themselves. I can’t wait to see what this series brings next, highly recommend this book to all!
